Introducing the New Elementary SEL Curriculum!

On September 16 Parent U held a session all about the Portland Public Schools’ new Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Curriculum. Joanna Frankel, Director of Elementary Culture and Climate, led the discussion on how the new SEL curriculum is integral to the Strategic Plan, and the strategy our staff uses to ensure that all students feel safe, supported and prepared to manage relationships and emotions effectively.
