Join us on Thursday, January 22, from 6:00-7:30 PM at King Middle School for the second session in our Special Education Parent University series, designed to help families be informed, confident and engaged members of their child’s IEP team. This session will focus on what happens at an IEP (Individualized Education Program) meeting. We will review the IEP document, explain the different types of IEP meetings and walk through the important steps that take place before, during and after a meeting. Parents and guardians will also learn about their legal rights throughout the IEP process.
