Screenagers, an award-winning documentary, tells the stories of families who are struggling over social media, video games, and internet addiction. Authors, psychologists, and brain scientists reveal how screen time impacts young people’s mind and development. The film explores solutions to handle screen time and provides parents/adults with tools to help youth find balance in their digital lives. Following the screening, a panel of psychologists and other experts will lead a question and answer session.

Film is subtitled in many languages. We will show it in the following languages: Arabic, French, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

Chris Reiger, Ph.D Dr. Reiger is Portland Public Schools’ new Director of Clinical and Behavioral Supports. He brings with him extensive experience working with children and adolescents in both residential treatment and school-based settings. Dr. Reiger holds both a master’s degree and doctorate in clinical/community psychology.
