Nurturing a Growth Mindset

See below for a recording and resources from the event!

Session Description:
These days, our children have multiple responsibilities and many potential distractions, making learning challenging for even the most hard-working student. This session will provide an overview of how learning works, how students can use active-learning strategies, and how parents can model a positive, "growth mindset" to support learning any new skill or information.
About the Speaker: Paul Dexter was awarded his Ph.D. in Public Policy from USM’s Muskie School of Public Service in 2015.
